Golniva Kitchen ·
Bolani is a thin, stuffed flatbread. A soft dough is rolled out, filled with spiced potato, spring onion and fresh coriander, folded over and pan-fried until the outside blisters and turns golden and crisp.
What it tastes like
- A crackly, golden outside and a soft, savoury potato filling
- Fresh and green from the spring onion and coriander
- Gently spiced — warm rather than hot
- Best eaten hot, torn into pieces and dipped
What you get when you order it
- Two flatbreads, cut for sharing
- A pot of our green chutney — coriander, mint, green chilli, garlic and lemon — for dipping

Is bolani vegan?
Yes. Our bolani has no meat, dairy or eggs in the recipe, and the green chutney that comes with it is vegan too.

Yes — the dough is made with wheat flour. Our kitchen also handles nuts, milk, eggs and sesame, so please tell us about any allergy when you order.
Is bolani spicy?
It's mild. The filling has a little warmth from green chilli; the green chutney on the side is the hotter part, so use as much or as little as you like.
